The key points to remember from Walid Regragui's press conference.

The national team coach, Walid Regragui, said during a press conference held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamoura on Monday, 'Facing two of the best teams in the world in our next two friendly matches represents an excellent opportunity for us to progress and develop further as a team.' Regragui emphasized that these two matches 'will be high-level encounters, and we have chosen tough opponents to continue our progress following our World Cup campaign and to meet the challenges ahead.'

'The Royal Moroccan Football Federation wanted to reward Moroccan supporters by inviting one of the great footballing nations, Brazil. The Moroccan public deserves to see a great football match. It is an important match, and we are happy to play at home and deliver a great performance,' he added.

Regarding the list of 30 players selected for these two matches, the national team coach explained that 'there are many people waiting for changes, but it is this group that allowed us to reach the World Cup semi-finals and brought joy to Moroccans. There have been some changes due to injuries to some players and the evolution of the national team.'

The coach confirmed that goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, despite his injury during his team's match with FC Sevilla, will be present for the matches. He also explained that the addition of goalkeeper Mehdi Benabid to the team was a choice for the future.

Regarding dual-nationality player Brahim Diaz, Regragui said they had had an honest discussion and that the player had to make a decision. He emphasized that dual-nationality players who choose to join the national team are welcome. Regragui also explained that the absence of player Ilyas Chair was due to an injury, and that Ayoub Amraoui had been selected due to his progress with the U20 and U23 teams.

The national team coach also commented on the selection of captain Ghanem Saiss, who has not played much for his club, saying he was one of the leaders of the national team and performed well in the World Cup. Regragui also thanked King Mohammed VI for his support, as well as the Moroccan public and the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation for their work in developing national football.
