A victory that smacks of defeat
We have to believe that investors settled the fate of the
presidential election yesterday: the appreciable rise in Wall Street and its
major stock market indexes suggests a victory for Democrat Joe Biden.
"Why is Biden going to win ..."
I have lost count of the number of columns, open letters and
analytical texts that carried this title in recent days.
They were all saying Biden was going to win his fingers in the
nose.
"The leader of the Democratic Party has a wide highway like
that in front of him, he will rush to victory without any problem ..."
Well, Mr. Biden may have had some mechanical trouble because his
jerk didn't perform as the "experts" had expected.
The highway he had to cross at full speed turned into a small winding
path.
And his racing car has been chugging, chugging, chugging.
Once again, "experts" of all stripes have underestimated
the pull of Trumpism.
And, above all, the acute disgust of a large part of the electorate
in the face of the arrogance of the Democratic Party, which continues to
present itself as a model of virtue and the sole guarantor of American values.
It has been said over and over again: Joe Six-Pack has not
recognized himself in the Democratic Party for a long time.
Before a great defender of the little worker, the Democratic Party
(like many left-wing parties in the West) abandoned the workers for the
minorities and became the refuge of a bunch of obscure academics who spend
their days discussing the sex of the angels and wondering how many trans
racialists could fit on the tip of a needle.
Joe Six-Pack watches them go, scratching his hat and thinking,
“WTF? And me ? My factory, which raised the felts to go and establish itself in
an emerging country where workers are paid in peanuts, who talks about it?

THE MYTH OF THE COWBOY
And there is also the personality of Mr. Biden who, it must be
said, does not exude health.
On election day, the man mistook his granddaughter ... for his son
who died five years ago !!!
“He was tired,” it was said.
At this point, I apologize, it is not fatigue, but warning signs of
senility.
It may be 2020, but the myth of the manly cowboy still has a hard
time with many Americans.
Not sure that the idea of giving power to a man who, in a year,
may no longer remember that he was elected president excites pick-up drivers or
Latino voters who love their leaders "Tabasco style ".
After appearing at home with Hilary Clinton, an unloved woman who
was for many the very embodiment of the caviar left, the Democrats chose a
tasteless, colorless and odorless grandfather to represent them.
Is that all that was left in the candidate box? Really ?
PRIVATE BIDEN
It's been four years that ALL the American media (except one)
repeat from morning to night and from night to morning that Trump is a monster,
a clown, a threat, a liar ...
This should have resulted in a massive vote for Democrats.
But even with this relentless bombardment against his opponent, Joe
Biden had all the hardships in the world making it to the finish line.
