Algeria hails the efforts of Mohammed VI in the protection of Al-Quds
Once is not custom, Algeria has not lifted its veto to a resolution welcoming the efforts of King Mohammed VI, in his capacity as chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in the defense of the Palestinian city.
This eulogy addressed to the sovereign bears the signature of the Ministerial Committee of the Arab League responsible for shedding light on Israeli violations in the holy city, during its meeting on Tuesday, September 6 in Cairo.
Algeria welcomed, like the other components of the said pan-Arab body, the projects carried out by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee and based in Rabat, under the aegis of King Mohammed VI, to keep the Maqdissis on their land and support their resistance.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, highlighted before the Ministerial Committee the mediation led by King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and the United States, which resulted in a agreement for the opening, without interruption, of the "Allenby/King Hussein" border post linking the West Bank to Jordan.
Members of the Arab Ministerial Committee are: Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia and Algeria, as well as the Secretary General of the Arab League .
In the past, Algeria had firmly opposed any publication of press releases from Arab and Islamic organizations, hailing the efforts of King Mohammed VI to protect Al-Qoids, demanding that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune be housed at the same ensign as the sovereign.
