The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, expressed his support for the decision of Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, setting the age threshold for access to the AREF recruitment competition for teachers at 30 years old. instead of 40 years now. Ouahbi called on ministers to make the right decisions that are in the public interest and not those of Facebook.

 

While Minister Chakib Benmoussa announced new conditions of access to the competition for teachers of regional education and training academies (AREF) who made talk among teachers, the Minister of Justice, gave him all his supported and indicated that education sector reform requires "courageous" and "bold" decisions.

 

In an interview with Hespress, the head of the Justice Department considered that Chakib Benmoussa is a high-level minister who knows his files perfectly, hence his approval of this decision.

 

According to him, the question of educational reform should not be limited to this detail concerning the age threshold accepted for taking the competitive examination, by affirming that the reform of this sector will necessarily be accompanied by other decisions. and measures that will not be to the liking of certain interest groups.

 

Abdellatif Ouahbi has already announced the colors by saying that the decisions that follow will cause an uproar, stressing that they are motivated by a general interest and not to please Facebook.

 

"The decisions and measures to come will create a controversy" he declared, before adding that in any case "if there is no outcry around this decision, there will be for another ".

 

“If we are to reform, we must do it in its entirety with all the courage and daring needed. But if we follow + Facebook + and interest groups, we will not evolve, ”he said.

 

He insisted: "Government ministers must make the correct decisions that will be beneficial, not what Facebook wants."
